Scope
This policy applies to the personal data we process through besvida.ai, by email and through WhatsApp, including private enquiries, introductions, membership applications and the use of club services such as The Base and our experiences.
We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (“LOPDGDD”).
Data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- Identification and contact details: name, surname, email address, phone number and country of residence.
- Background you choose to share: company, role, sector, your connection with Ibiza and, where relevant, who introduced you to the club.
- Membership and service information: requests, preferences, dates of stays at The Base and participation in experiences.
- Communications: the content of the messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or through the website.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device and browsing information collected through cookies (see section 11).
If you share information that may reveal health data, such as allergies or dietary requirements for a private dinner, we use it only to deliver that service safely and only with your explicit consent.
If you give us personal data about another person, for example when referring someone to the club, you confirm that you have informed them and that you are entitled to share it.

Membership decisions are made by people. We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing, and we do not carry out profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Retention
- Enquiries that do not lead to membership: up to 12 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Members: for as long as the membership lasts. Afterwards, data is kept blocked only for the periods required by law, such as tax and accounting obligations, and then deleted.
- Club news and invitations: until you withdraw your consent.
- Cookies: for the periods described in section 11.
Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We only share it when necessary and with:
- Service providers who support our operations, such as website hosting, email, IT and accounting. They act on our instructions under a data processing agreement.
- Collaborating partners such as chefs, venues, transport, yacht or wellness professionals, and only with the data strictly needed to deliver a service you have requested.
- Professional advisers bound by confidentiality.
- Public authorities and courts when the law requires it.
International transfers
Some providers, such as messaging, email or cloud services, may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, transfers rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Commission.
When you contact us through WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy also apply to your use of that platform.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- delete your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent, without affecting processing carried out before;
- not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing.
To exercise your rights, write to private@besvida.com with the subject “Data protection”. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask for additional information to confirm it. We will reply within one month, which may be extended by two further months for complex requests.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es).
Confidentiality and security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, and access to personal data is limited to the people who need it to do their work.
The identity of members and guests, their attendance at club events and their stays at The Base are treated as confidential. We do not publish images of members or guests without their consent.
No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we recommend not sending sensitive information through channels you do not trust.
Minors
Bes Vida is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. besvida.ai may use:
- Technical cookies, needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choices. These do not require consent.
- Analytics or preference cookies, only if you accept them. They help us understand how the site is used.
- Third-party cookies, which embedded content or external services may set under their own policies.
Where non-essential cookies are used, we ask for your consent before placing them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings, or delete cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and others). Blocking technical cookies may affect how the site works.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will let members know directly.
